Happy ReNew Year Wrap Up
As many of you know, we’ve spent January working through Happy ReNew Year: 31 Days to a New You! As we wrap up the month, I wanted to pop in and share a short post with our favorite January resources for body, soul, and spirit.We’ve had a chance to try out several things, and these three emerged as the top three. Body Resources
Fitness has historically been my most difficult goal to stick with, so this year I decided to try a new tactic. On Day 1 of Happy ReNew Year, I set a yearly goal to work out at least 15 minutes before work each day. That 15 minutes often leads to 30 minutes once I get going. I’ve recently discovered Lucy Wyndham-Read’s fitness videos, which are perfect for my short workouts, and I love them. Check out her many free workouts, ranging from 5 minutes to 45 minutes long. Soul Resources
This month I’ve been enjoying breath prayers as a way of calming my soul. I love the book Breath as Prayer (affiliate link) by Jennifer Tucker. It’s beautiful and so easy to use. Spirit Resources
Mary has been loving the James Method of Bible study journals that she uses during her quiet time. Specifically, she has been using the Verse Map Journal, the Scripture Memory Journal, and the Word Study Journal. If you’d like to go deeper in your studies, this would be the resource to try!
